Create the Future: Defining Your Organization’s Vision
In this multi-phase workshop, organizational leaders come together to define a working vision for the future of their organization. The work begins with a planning session, determining the level of urgency and commitment behind visioning work. A hands-on vision workshop then follows in which organizational leaders apply their knowledge of today’s organization to the creation of its future. A final, applied phase provides leadership with a roadmap for moving the vision from the boardroom to the vibrancy of daily application.

Leadership and Communication in Times of Change
Change may be inevitable, but most leaders struggle to bring their people on-board with even small change initiatives. Consequently, the most common complaint by employees about organizational change programs is the lack of leadership communication. “Leadership and Communication in Times of Change” prepares clients to avoid common but costly communication pitfalls, engage stakeholders as partners in change, communicate a compelling vision, and to develop a comprehensive roadmap for change communication programs. Marketing Communications

Marketing Your Business (in partnership with Akamai Consulting)

Tilt Consulting, in partnership with Akamai Consulting, offers a 3-part series on marketing your business. Targeted toward new and small businesses, participants come away with an understanding of:

  • How to establish a strategy for promoting your business
  • How to develop a comprehensive marketing plan
  • How to execute your plan and monitor your results


Part One: Build your Marketing Strategy
In the first part of our series we lay the groundwork for marketing effectively: building a strategy. We help participants understand the process of marketing, what their business stands for, who their customers are, why customers buy from them and against whom they compete for market share.

Part Two: Build your Marketing Plan
The second part of our series discusses the elements of a good marketing plan: budgeting, marketing mix, allocating percentages and common channels. Participants learn about targeting an audience through traditional and non-traditional channels (including the internet, direct mail, yellow page advertising, viral marketing, networking, television, radio and word of mouth).  Participants also learn to blend marketing techniques and manage costs for maximum return on marketing investment.

Part Three: Execute your Marketing Plan
In the final part of our series we discuss implementing and adjusting a marketing plan. Participants learn to measure results, make changes when necessary and to develop a promotional flow. We also discuss the value of repetition in advertising, negotiation tips, the use of lists, how to earn free publicity and how to capitalize on your existing contacts.
